TXNLP Leakage Protection Plug is the rewirable AC-type leakage protection plug on the action function and the line voltage, for single-phase circuit of AC 50Hz, rated voltage of 220V, rated current of not more than 16A. Rated leakage current of 10mA, protect personal electric shock of fatal danger (can not protect the risk of touching two poles at the same time). Precautions

Installation and use

1 Installation of the leakage protection plugs with the output terminal (TXNLP-10 / TXNLP-16):
① Open the tail cover, strip off insulation layer of the electrical power line output, insert the terminal, tighten the fastening screws with a screwdriver, and pay attention to the correct connection of live, zero, ground.
② Close the tail cover, tighten the fastening screws.
③ Confirm the connection is correct, the leakage protection plug directly inserted into the fixed socket.
④ Should be tested before use to verify whether the leakage protection plug can work properly. Press the reset button, the indicator light on, indicating that the plug has power output; and then press the test button (simulated human body electric shock), the product can operate, meanwhile the indicator light off, then press the reset button, the indicator light on, for returning to normal power supply. This proves that it can be put into normal use.

2 Installation of leakage travel plug with small five-hole output (TXNLP-10X / TXNLP-16X):
① The leakage current plug (TXNLP-10X) directly inserted into the fixed socket.
② The leakage plug (TXNLP-10X) with small five-hole output power, can access any load appliances of less than 10A.
③ Should be tested before use to verify whether the protection plug can work properly. Press the reset button, the indicator light on, indicating that the plug has power output; and then press the test button (simulated human body electric shock), the product can operate, meanwhile the indicator light off, then press the reset button, the indicator light on, for returning to normal power supply. This proves that it can be put into normal use.

3 Installation of leakage travel plug with small five-hole and USB power output (TXNLP-10XU):
① The leakage current plug (TXNLP-10XU) directly inserted into the fixed socket.
② The leakage plug (TXNLP-10XU) with small five-hole output power, can access any load appliances of less than 10A.
③ The leakage plug (TXNLP-10XU) with USB 5V 1A output charging power and charging indicator.
④ Should be tested before use to verify whether the protection plug can work properly. Press the reset button, the indicator light on, indicating that the plug has power output; and then press the test button (simulated human body electric shock), the product can operate, meanwhile the indicator light off, then press the reset button, the indicator light on, for returning to normal power supply. This proves that it can be put into normal use.

Yellow test button: Check whether the leakage protection function is normal. Press the test button, the light will go out.

What is the leakage protection plug

Leakage protection plug also known as the residual current protection plug. When the electrical occurs leakage, in the electrical circuit, a part of the current does not return to the transformer from the live line through the neutral line, but flows into the earth through the ground or body and other "conductor", to constitute a "tributary" outside of the main circuit, this is what we usually call "leakage". working principle

The leakage protector is installed in the circuit, the primary coil is connected to circuits of power grid, the secondary coil is connected to releases of leakage protector.

When the normal operation of the power equipment, the current is balanced in the circuit, the sum of the current vector is zero in the transformer (the current is the vector with direction, for instance, the flowing direction is "+", the return direction is "-", the currents in the transformer are equal and opposite, the positive and the negative offset each other). Because the primary coil has no residual current, the secondary coil can not be induced, and the switch device of the leakage protector is in the closed state.

When the equipment case occurs leakage and is touched, produces a diversion in the fault point, the leakage current is grounded through the body-ground-work, return to the neutral point of the transformer (without current transformer), so the current flowing in and out of the transformer is unbalanced (The sum of the current vector is not zero), there is residual current generated in the primary coil. Therefore, the secondary coil can be induced, when the current value reaches the limit operation current value of the leakage protector, automatic switch tripping, cut off power supply.
