一、Scope of Application
DZL18 Molded Case Circuit Breaker (also known as DZL18 leakage protection MCCB), for single-phase circuit of AC 50Hz, rated voltage of 230V, rated current of 40A. Its main function is to provide indirect protection for personal electric shock of fatal danger. At the same time, DZL18 Lv circuit braker can also prevent electrical fire hazard caused by ground fault current from damaged equipment insulation.

Structure and working principle
The residual current operated circuit breaker is a current action type electronic quick residual current operated circuit breaker. The main components are: the zero-sequence current transformer manufactured by the high permeability material, the electronic component board, the residual current release and the test device. All parts are installed in a pair of plastic case;
When there is the leakage current in the protected circuit, current vector sum of primary coil through the zero-sequence current transformer is not equal to zero, secondary coil of zero-sequence transformer generates the induced voltage and amplifies through the electronic components board, when the value reaches the set value, the residual current release cut off the power supply within 0.1s to protect circuit. The operation principle (see Fig).

1, The leakage protection circuit breaker vertical bone fixation (please use cross screwdriver to prevent damage to the shell).
2, The power supply line must be above the leakage circuit breaker, that is marked "power" at the top of the load wire (including the neutral line), must be through the leakage circuit breakers, and load neutral must be insulated
3, Leakage protection circuit breaker handle in the "OFF" position that the sub-gate, in the "ON" position that the closing state, turn on the power.
4, Leakage protection circuit breakers due to failure of the protected circuit and sub-gate, should identify the cause, troubleshooting can be carried out after the closing operation.
5, Leakage protection circuit breakers in the new installation or operation after a certain time (usually every month) to be in the closed power protection state. Press the test button to check the leakage protection performance is normal and reliable.
七、 Notice
1, Leakage protection circuit breaker can not provide protection under the electric shock situation that the human body contact with the phase line and the neutral line at the same time, users should pay attention to safety.
2, Do not use the method of phase-to-ground short-circuit to test leakage circuit breakers, to avoid affecting the life of leakage circuit breaker.
